I have heard many stories of people traveling through Vermont and having a hard time. There are many road closures in Vermont. Here is a link to Vermont DOT for updates.
I know if you take I-91 and head up along the eastern side of the state it is better. Roads such as Rte 4, Rte 100 and some other popular roads are closed and look to remain closed for at least a week.
