Hurricane Irene Update
White Mountains Attractions and Businesses Closing for Hurricane Irene
** IMPORTANT WARNING TO ALL LEVELS of HIKERS**
**The White Mountain National Forest Trail Systems, Campgrounds and Shelters
will be CLOSED starting SATURDAY at 6pm and ending MONDAY at mid-night.
**The Appalachian Mountain Club Trail Systems, Shelters and Visitor Centers will
be CLOSED starting SATURDAY at 6pm ending Monday at mid-night.
**The NH State Parks Systems and Visitor Centers will be CLOSED starting
SATURDAY at 6pm and ending MONDAY at mid-night.

Attitash Mountain – CLOSED on Sunday August 28th
Cannon Mountain – CLOSED on Sunday and Monday August 28th & 29th
Clark’s Trading Post – CLOSED on Sunday August 28th
Flume Gorge – CLOSED on Sunday and Monday August 28th & 29th
Loon Mountain – all activities are CLOSED on Sunday August 28th, the Gondola will
remain CLOSED on Monday August 29th
Polar Caves Park – CLOSED on Sunday August 28th
Santa’s Village – CLOSED on Sunday and Monday August 28th & 29th
Wildcat Mountain – CLOSED on Sunday August 28th
Activity based Businesses (subject to change)
Museum of NH History – CLOSED on Sunday and Monday August 28th & 29th
New England Ski Museum – CLOSED on Sunday August 28th
Pemi Valley Excursions – CLOSED for Moose Tours on Sunday August 28th
Squam Lakes Science Center – CLOSED on Sunday and Monday August 28th & 29th
Weeks State Park – CLOSED on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday August 28th-30th
