Activities Schedule for October 26 to November 3 2012

Friday,  October 26th   2012
7:30PM                  Movie Night — (FREE EVENT)
                                Come down to the lobby and enjoy the movie  The Sandlot  We will supply the popcorn.

Saturday,  October 27th  2012
7:00PM                  Half Moon Jewelry Design (Necklace sets start at $15.  Set contains a necklace kit with matching earrings.  Ear wires are Sterling Silver unless otherwise stated)
Come down to the Fun Factory to make your own jewelry with Half Moon Jewelry Design owner Joyce Schwartz.  She will provide the kits and guide you through the process of making your own jewelry!  Event will run from 7-8pm and is a great craft for all ages!
7:30PM                  Facebook Movie Night — (FREE EVENT) Go to our Facebook  Page and vote for the movie you want to see tonight.  We will supply the popcorn.

Monday, October 29th ,  2012
9:00AM                  Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT)
Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where we will update you on all of our activities, local events and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts.
2:15PM                  See the Kanc ($5 per person)
                         Join Eric as he takes a ride over the famous Kancamagus highway. This is a trip to get guests oriented with the area. We will make stops at: height of the land overlooks, Sabbaday Falls(conditions permitting), Rocky Gorge, and Albany Covered Bridge.. This trip is designed to show you spots along the Kanc that might be of interest later in the week. The trail will probably be muddy so boots or other sturdy footwear is highly recommended NO SANDALS!
5:00 PM                 Manga Mondays!  Tony’s Italian Grill located on Rte. 3 on the Woodstock/Thorton line offers all entrees for $12.99 each. 
7:30PM                  Movie Night — (FREE EVENT)
Come down to the lobby and enjoy the movie We Bought a Zoo. We will supply the popcorn.

 Tuesday,  October 30th ,   2012
10:00AM               Covered Bridge Tour ($10 per person if by Van $17 if travel by bus)
Join us as we head west of Lincoln to see a few covered bridges.  First we will stop at the Swiftwater Covered Bridge, which is a smaller bridge with a beautiful waterfall underneath it.  After that we will head to the Haverhill-Bath Covered Bridge, which is 1 of 2 completely original bridges left in the country.  Finally we will stop at the Bath Covered Bridge, which is the longest covered bridge entirely in the state of NH.  Also at the Bath Covered Bridge is the Brick Store, America’s Oldest General Store.  If 12 or more people sign up we will travel by Bus.
3:00PM                  Fadden's Sugar House and General Store (FREE EVENT)
We will head over to North Woodstock and meet with the Fadden Family and see how they make Maple Syrup. You will be able to observe the process in the modern facility as well as see an example of the way it was done in the good ole days.
6:00PM                  Taco Tuesday at CJ’s Penalty Box/Brittany’s Restaurant.   Head down to CJ’s and enjoy $1 tacos.  They set up a make your own Taco Bar.  You can make hard or soft tacos, nachos, and more.  They also offer several beverage specials.  Taco Bar is set up until 9PM

Come down to the lobby and enjoy the Dr. Suess’ The Lorax We will supply the popcorn.

Wednesday,  October 31st,  2012
8:45AM                  COG Railway ($48 per person includes transportation to and from the Cog.)
Join Eric as we head up to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast.
5:00PM                  Trick or Treat in Lincoln  The Town of Lincoln offers a safe environment for your kids to trick-or-treat on Halloween. Your family is welcome to trick-or-treat on School, Church, and Maple Streets. Church Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between the hours of 5pm-8pm on Wednesday, October 31st. Happy Halloween!
5:00PM                  Full Turkey Dinner $6.99 at the Woodstock Station.  Head over to North Woodstock to enjoy their famous turkey dinner.  Home made turkey dinner with all the fix ins 6.99. This special is available Sunday through Thursday Nights

Thursday,  November 1st    2012
2:00PM             Hike the Basin (FREE EVENT)
Join Eric on an easy stroll through the Basin. The Basin itself is a small waterfall and rock formation also known as the Old Man on the Mountain’s Foot.  From there we will either hike through the “Baby Flume” or up the Basin Cascades Trail. Both of which have very nice waterfalls and scenery.The trail will probably be muddy so boots or other sturdy footwear is highly recommended NO SANDALS!

7:30PM                  Adventure Improv @ Papermill Theater.  Special Priced tickets available thru Adventure ConciergeLive Free and Laugh. Audiences roar with laughter as our company actors perform from the top of their heads and create hilarious scenes through games and sketches. You can participate by yelling out your ideas or sit back and enjoy all the fun in this family friendly improvisational cavalcade of jocularity.
