Activities Schedule for October 19 to 27, 2012


Friday,  October 19th   2012
7:30PM A Grand Night for Singing at the Papermill Theater. Tickets are $30 at the door and $25 when ordered thru the Adventure Concierge save even more for those over age 65 Taste and imagination, the two key ingredients for a first-rate revue, abound in this fresh take on the Rodgers & Hammerstein canon conceived by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie. 
7:30PM  Movie Night — (FREE EVENT) 
Come down to the lobby and enjoy the movie  The Sandlot  We will supply the popcorn.

Saturday,  October 20th  2012
8:45AM  COG Railway ($38 per person. We will travel in Caravan Format.)
Join Eric as we head up to the famous Cog Railway. This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast.
7:00PM Half Moon Jewelry Design (Necklace sets start at $15.  Set contains a necklace kit with matching earrings.  Ear wires are Sterling Silver unless otherwise stated)
Come down to the Fun Factory to make your own jewelry with Half Moon Jewelry Design owner Joyce Schwartz.  She will provide the kits and guide you through the process of making your own jewelry!  Event will run from 7-8pm and is a great craft for all ages! 
7:30PM Adventure Improv @ Papermill Theater.  Special Priced tickets available thru Adventure Concierge.  Live Free and Laugh. Audiences roar with laughter as our company actors perform from the top of their heads and create hilarious scenes through games and sketches. You can participate by yelling out your ideas or sit back and enjoy all the fun in this family friendly improvisational cavalcade of jocularity.
7:30PM Facebook Movie Night — (FREE EVENT) Go to our Facebook  Page and vote for the movie you want to see tonight.  We will supply the popcorn.

Monday, October 22nd,  2012
9:00AM                  Day Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT)
Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational gathering where we will update you on all of our activities, local events and answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts and juice!
2:15PM                  Hike to Sabbaday Falls & Rocky Gorge($5 per person)
Join us as we head out on the Kanc over to Sabbaday Falls. Sabbaday Falls is a 3/4 mile round trip hike up to a 3 tiered waterfall!! Most of the trail is flat, except for one small hill. This is a very scenic area with a beautiful waterfall! Rocky Gorge is a smaller gorge with a good sized waterfall a few miles down the road from Sabbaday Falls. This scenic area in the Swift River is not something you want to miss! The trail will probably be muddy so boots or other sturdy footwear is highly recommended NO SANDALS!

Come down to the lobby and enjoy the movie We Bought a Zoo. We will supply the popcorn.

 Tuesday,  October 23rd,   2012
10:00AM               Covered Bridge Tour ($10 per person if by Van $17 if travel by bus)
Join us as we head west of Lincoln to see a few covered bridges.  First we will stop at the Swiftwater Covered Bridge, which is a smaller bridge with a beautiful waterfall underneath it.  After that we will head to the Haverhill-Bath Covered Bridge, which is 1 of 2 completely original bridges left in the country.  Finally we will stop at the Bath Covered Bridge, which is the longest covered bridge entirely in the state of NH.  Also at the Bath Covered Bridge is the Brick Store, America’s Oldest General Store.  If 12 or more people sign up we will travel by Bus.
3:00PM                  Fadden's Sugar House and General Store (FREE EVENT)
We will head over to North Woodstock and meet with the Fadden Family and see how they make Maple Syrup. You will be able to observe the process in the modern facility as well as see an example of the way it was done in the good ole days.
7:30PM                  Movie Night — (FREE EVENT)
Come down to the lobby and enjoy the Sister Act We will supply the popcorn.

Wednesday,  October 24th  2012

Thursday,  October 25th   2012
10:00AM           Everywhere & Nowhere Tour ($10 in Van  $27 if in Bus)
Join Eric as he heads through northern NH in search of foliage, and other scenic sights. This trip doesn't go anywhere in particular, but you are likely to see foliage, covered bridges, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, and other things you would have never seen without this trip!!  There will be a Lunch(not included in price) stop somewhere along the route.
