9:30AM             Hike the Basin (FREE EVENT)

Join Eric on an easy stroll through the Basin. The Basin itself is a small waterfall and rock formation also known as the Old Man on the Mountain’s Foot.  From there we will either hike through the “Baby Flume” or up the Basin Cascades Trail. Both of which have very nice waterfalls and scenery.The trail will probably be muddy so boots or other sturdy footwear is highly recommended NO SANDALS!

YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR THIS TRIP AT THE FRONT DESK.  YOU WILL MEET THERE AT 3:00PM ON YOUR OWN

We will head over to North Woodstock and meet with the Fadden Family and see how they make Maple Syrup. You will be able to observe the process in the modern facility as well as see an example of the way it was done in the good ole days.

8:45AM             COG Railway ($25 or $15 per person. CASH ONLY FINAL PRICE WILL BE DETERMINED AT DEPARTURE) YOU MUST SIGN UP AT FRONT DESK. PRICE IS ONLY VALID FOR THIS TIME AND DATE   YOU WILL BE GIVEN SPECIAL DIRECTIONS ONCE YOU SIGN UP AT THE DESK

This railway chugs up the side of Mt. Washington all the way to the top where you can experience “the world’s worst weather” At the top you will get magnificent views on a nice day, and at the very least, you will get to stand on the tallest mountain in the northeast. The price will be $25 per person if the Cog goes to the Summit or $15 if it only goes 3/4 of the way.  Due to the ever changing conditions on Mount Washington, this determination may not be made until Wednesday morning.
