Throughout the summer, five professional adult actors from NCCA’s Children’s Theatre Company perform original musical adaptations of popular fairy and folk tales in seven communities throughout New Hampshire. The shows appeal to adults and children ages 3 and up and run about 30 minutes. The performances finish with a cast meet and greet immediately following the performance.

- Thursday: Waterville Valley Rec Center (10:30) Plymouth-Silver Center for the Arts (2:00 pm)
- Friday: Intervale-Believe in Books Theater in the Wood (10:00 am) , Littleton Opera House (2:00 pm)
- Saturday: Lincoln-Papermill Theatre in NCCA’s Jean’s Playhouse (9:30 am)

Little Mermaid July 2-7
NCCA's award winning Children's Theater presents the Hans Christian Anderson classic about a young mermaid willing to give up her life in the and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul and the love of a human prince. This is a tail great for the whole family that you don't want to miss.
Aladdin July 9-14
NCCA's Children's Theater takes the story from Arabian Nights and transforms it to the stage in a unique performance. What will Aladdin wish for from the magical Genie of the lamp? Will he marry the Emperor's daughter? Get your wish answered by seeing this fantastic show for the whole family.
The Golden Bird July 16-21
Three brothers compete on a quest to capture the golden bird, a golden horse, and a princess in a golden castle. Which brother will win in this classic French fairy tale presented by NCCA's award winning Children's Theater? Come to the show and see what pans out.
Thumbelina July 23-28
NCCA's Children's Theater presents another Hans Christian Andersen story about a tiny girl and her adventures with her short appearance and toads and moles that want to marry her. Will she successfully avoid their intentions before falling in love with a prince just her size?
Elves and the Shoemaker July 30 - Aug 8
NCCA"s Children's Theater cobbles together an exciting rendition of this Brothers Grimm tale. A kind and poor old Shoemaker gives away his last pair of shoes to a beggar and is rewarded by Elves who work in the night making shoes for him. Will the Shoemaker find out who the Elves are? Find out in this sen-shoe-tional show.
Sleeping Beauty August 6-11
This lively telling of the classic fairy tale will keep you awake with all of its action and fun! NCCA's award winning Children's Theater will tell the story of Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip in this fabulous play for the whole family. See how powerful true-loves kiss can be. Will she awake or does she just hit snooze on the alarm clock?
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs August 13-18
You'll be Grumpy if you miss this classic Brothers Grimm tale of a princess-to-be and seven short guys in need of a psychologist. NCCA's Children's Theater performs this fantastic show for the whole family. You will be singing and humming the great tunes from the original telling.
Rumpelstiltskin August 20-25
Before Beyonce said "Say my name." an evil man named Rumpelstiltskin did. If you guess his man you get a wish. If you don't he gets your children. Watch this evil man dance and sing with the rest of the award winning NCCA Children's Theater cast as they tell this classic story.
