9:00AM Make your own Grass Hair Planter
($4 per planter) Limited to 20 people Age 6+
Come
down to the Fun Factory where Mr. Potato Head meets a Chia Pet. You will make
funny planters out of nylon, sawdust and grass seed.
10:00AM Sledding @ Kanc Rec Center (Free
Event WEATHER PERMITTING)
Join
Eric as we head over to the local recreation center for a couple of hours of
sledding. Transportation and sleds will be provided.
12:30PM Decoupage
Plates ($5 per plate)
Come down to the Fun Factory, and be sure to bring your
vacation photos to make a commemorative plate! You will decoupage your pictures
on to the back of a glass plate so that your vacation at Pollard Brook will
never be forgotten. Limited to 10 people.
2:00PM Hike
or Snowshoe the Basin ($5 per person or $15 snowshoe rental)
Join Eric on an easy stroll through the Basin. The Basin
itself is a small waterfall and rock formation also known as the Old Man’s
Foot. From there we will either hike through the “Baby Flume” or up the Basin
Cascades Trail, both of which have very nice waterfalls and scenery. If conditions are not ideal for snowshoes we
will just hike the trail.Sturdy Boots Only Please!!!
7:00PM Half Moon Jewelry Design ($11-$16 per
necklace depending on size) (Earring sets also available $5-$14)
Come down to the Fun Factory to make your own jewelry with
Half Moon Jewelry Design owner Joyce Schwartz.
She will the kits and guide you through the process of making your own
jewelry! Event will run from 7-8pm and
is a great craft for all ages!

Break Update at Pollard Brook (FREE EVENT)
Join our Adventure Concierge for a fun and informational
gathering where we will update you on all of our activities, local events and
answer any questions you may have! Complimentary donuts.
11:00AM Create your own Tiny Tile Coaster ($4 per coaster/ appropriate for Ages 6+) Come down to the Fun Factory where you will
make your own tile coaster from a variety of colored tiles. Space is limited to 12 people.
12:00PM Wii Games (FREE) Great for all
age 4+
Come
down to the Fun Factory at Pollard Brook where you will join Eric to play some
Nintendo Wii! This is a great chance for anyone, any age to show off their Wii
skills! Limit to 4 people due to space.
There will be 2 sessions of 30 minutes each.

2:00PM Snowshoe
or Hike at Sabbaday Falls($5 per person or $15 snowshoe rental)
Join Eric as we head out on the Kanc over to Sabbaday
Falls. This is a ¾ mile round trip hike
up to a 3 tiered waterfall! Most of the trail is flat, except for one small
hill. Sabbaday Falls is a very scenic
area with beautiful views. If there is
not enough snow we will just hike in so please wear sturdy footwear. Sturdy Boots Only
Please!!!

Eric as we head over to the local recreation center for a couple of hours of
sledding. Transportation and sleds will be provided.
12:30PM Paint your own ceramic Piggy Bank ($4 per piggy
bank) Limited to
15 people
A great opportunity for the children to be creative in designing
and painting their very own piggy bank. Its never to early to teach your
children how to save money! Great for all ages!
3:00PM Fadden's Sugar House
and General Store (Free
Event)
We will head over to North Woodstock and meet with the
Fadden Family and see how they make Maple Syrup. You will be able to
observe the process in the modern facility as well as see an example of the way
it was done in the good ole days.
5:00PM Ice Cream? It’s for Dinner($4 per bowl) Please sign up in book located in lobby
Whoever said Ice Cream was only a summer food was
wrong. Come down to the Fun Factory just off the main
lobby for an ice cream social. We will have different kinds of ice cream, and
almost everything you can think of for toppings.
7:00PM Create your own Fabric Spray
Painted T-Shirts ($6 per T-Shirt) Please
sign up in advance and specify T-Shirt size. (Shirts may shrink once washed) Come down to the Fun
Factory where you will be using permanent spray on fabric paint to create tie-dye
effects instantly with out the mess. Parent help is suggested for younger kids
as the spray bottles can be difficult for smaller hands.

us as we head over to Sled Ventures for a 2+ hour guided snowmobile tour!

people can go on one sled, or you can go it alone on your own sled! Beginners and first timers welcome! This is a guided tour up to Bog Pond, or
through the Franconia Notch! They supply jackets, pants and helmets.
3:30PM Create your own
Flower Garden ($4 per person includes 2 pots) Limit 15 Ages 4+
Come
down to the Fun Factory for a hands on way to celebrate the coming of spring or
enhance the study of nature. You will
paint you pot, fill it with dirt and plant maridold seeds which will germinate
in about 10 days.
5:00PM Sand Art ($3-$7 depends on the size
of bottle)
