Snow Mobile Tours

Snowmobiling is a great way to see the beautiful snow covered White Mountains and Forest. There are 2 location in Lincoln that offer Guided snow mobile tours.

SledVentures is located in North Lincoln across from the Whales Tale Water Park. When renting a sled here the price includes Jackets and Snow Pants of needed. They offer 2 types of beginners tours.
One tour is the Bog Pond Trail which is a nice trail with some curves, hill climbs and small bridge crossings as you head up to Bog Pond on groomed trails. After cruising around bog Pond your will continue under the Powerlines and head back to Lincoln.

The other tour they offer is a tour thru Franconia Notch State Park. This will head North thru the groomed trail of Franconia Notch State Park heading towards Twin Mountain.
Both Tours will make stops at scenic areas along the way.
All riders will go thru a brief but thorough safety orientation.
Alpine Adventures also offers similar tours as Sled Ventures. They have tours that run from 1 hour to 3 hours long.
Discounted Packages are available thru the adventure Concierge. Please contact me for more information and availability.
Sledding
The town of Lincoln has a great sledding hill located about 1 mile from InnSeason Resorts Pollard Brook. It is located at the Kancamagus Recreation Center (The "Kanc" for short) which is on the road to Forest Ridge Development. The resort has sleds for you to borrow. We do offer several trips to the Sledding Hill as part of our weekly Moose report. Check the signs posted in the lobby for our trips each week.
Snowshoes
A great way to go hiking in the snow. The only requirement to snowshoe is that you must be able to walk. All of the hiking summer hiking trails are open to snowshoeing. Snowshoe rentals are available for $15 per day at the Recreation Desk located in the lower lobby at Pollard Brook. We also have several planned trips during the week so be sure to check the Moose Report.

Some of the more popular areas to snowshoe are the Flume Gorge, Lincoln Woods, Greely Ponds, Sabbaday Falls, Rocky Gorge, and the Basin. Stop by my desk in the lobby for more recommendations.
