While it yet to really start looking like Fall, the temperatures have indicated that it is no longer Summer and for me that means my favorite season is here.
These 2 fine looking people were sitting in front of the Brick Store in Bath, NH on our Autumn Tour that we do on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
We start our day heading to Windy Ridge Apple Orchard in North Haverhill, NH where we have a nice lunch and Apple Cider Donuts made right there at the Cider House Cafe. Along the way we will stop at a scenic over look. At the Orchard there are amazing views into Vermont and the Connecticut River Valley as well as a nice Gift Shop, pumpkins, fresh cider, and other items.
After Lunch we head to the Swiftwater Covered Bridge and discuss the history of that area. Then we head to Bath where we have one stop with multiple things to do. The main attraction is the Bath Covered Bridge which is the longest covered bridge that is located entirely in NH. Including on the tour is a 1/4 of Fudge from the Brick Store which is the oldest General Store in the country and has been in Operation since 1790.
After you indulge in fudge you can go to "At the Hop" and get a ice cream cone or dish. Here you can reflect on the past as the inside is a flashback to the 1950's and 1960's as the inside is decorated with memorabilia from a bygone era.
After that we will head back to Lincoln after traveling thru the towns Lisbon and Sugar Hill on our way back to Lincoln.
