New Zipline at Loon Mountain
New Hampshire's Loon Mountain Resort has announced that the ski area's new zip line adventure spanning the Pemigewasset River is now open.
Riders soar more than 700 feet across the river, and then ride a separate line to cross back to the Adventure Center. The Loon Zip Line Adventure is unique because of its river crossing, and is the latest addition to the summer adventure and activity offerings at Loon Mountain.
A round trip zip costs $25, and riders must weigh a minimum of 100 lbs. and no more than 250 lbs. Kids 12 or under must meet the weight requirement and be accompanied by a paying adult. They are still trying to determine the minimum weight requirement. The cable is effected by the weather which is something that I had not thought about.
I have been told it is quiet the beautiful zip line. Come and try it out. We are investigating doing a group trip for the but have not worked out final details yet as Loon is still trying to determine some things for us.
